BOBBEE BEE:$150,000 Reason College Athletes Should Get Paid

$150,000 Reason College Athletes Should Get Paid
by eric d.graham
Did you know (contractually) that UNC's coach Roy Williams will receive a $150,000 bonus for advancing to the Sweet 16?
Oh yes, Williams has already made $145,148 in bonuses for making the NCAA tournament and advancing to the second round, according to the Raleigh News & Observer.
But, how much do the players get? There is no need to play that Alex Trebek Jeopardy-theme music. You know the answer....ZERO!!!
I know...this is an old debate. But, while #ADOS is forcing all presidential candidates to address the issue of Reparations, which means making of amends for a wrong one has done, by paying money to help those who have been wronged, we must force the NCAA to address the issue of athletes getting paid. Especially, during March Madness.
Yes, all athletes should be saying, "Cut the Check..."
Consider these "incredible" facts, before you defend the NCAA and your favorite team.
If UNC wins over Alabama, Williams receives a $200,000 bonus. And, a trip to the Final Four, means he gets to cash-in another check worth $200,000. Plus, he gets another additional check for $250,000 if he wins the national championship.
So, in total, if the Tar Heels advance to the national championship game and win, he could walk away with a hefty bag worth $650,000.
Think about that!!!! Especially, if you see your favorite coach dancing and gyrating, while cutting down those nets.
I guess..that's why they call it March Madness!!!! (fouls & fumbles with Patrick Williams and E.Graham) (bobbeethehater.blogspot.com) (BASN-Newsroom)Michael-louis Ingram
