We, at Blackathlete.net, think that fathers should be celebrated every day not just on Father’s Day, especially with stats showing that between 67 to 70% of Black children are born into single-parent homes. Therefore, we offer these 20 tips for all fathers around the globe.

1. Don’t underestimate the importance of your role.
As head of the family, the basic unit of society, you and all other fathers vitally effect the destiny of the community, nation and world.
2. Give your home top prority.
No matter how successful you may be on the job or in business ventures, your life can be a failure if you neglect to give your family the time and personal attention they both need and deserve.
3. Find fulfillment by living up to your potential duties.
When men abandon the upbringing of their children to their wives, a loss is suffered by everyone, but perhaps most of all by themselves. Your children need you, and you need your children.
4. Let strength distinguish everything you do.
A man’s contribution should be strength as an influence on his children and on society.
