COMMUNITY GATHERING & GRIEVING: THE FAMILY “DIE”-NAMICS OF DEALING WITH DEATH by e.graham

Grief is a normal process through which we work out and eventually resolve our deeply felt loss and the accompanying pain and anxieties. According to grief therapists, one of the main reasons a person suffers prolonged grief is that they have been unable to express, in their own time and in their own way, all the complexities and stages of their grief, thoughts, and emotions, and do not feel heard, acknowledged and supported. In bereavement, this may include a yearning for the deceased, a need to blame others and to express guilty feelings. When a person is having to cope with change, feelings of frustration, anger, and depression can contribute to prolonged grief. (Counseling, Milne, A)

In Biblical times, it suggested that people mourn differently. For instance, the Egyptians “allegedly” mourned for Jacob for 70 days (Gen 50:3)(This is all symbolically, of course.) While , Israel mourned and wept for Aaron and Moses for 30 days (Num.20:24(Deut.34:8).

But, we, however, should understand that the REAL grieving process takes place after the funeral ceremony when all the people are gone.-when there are no more hugs to give, no more tears to shed, no more “fake smile” to endure, no more phone calls to answer, and no more prayers to be heard.

Those, who have dealt with losing a loved one, have to bear witness to this.

SEE, while DEATH can bring us all together. It also can TEAR US ALL APART. DEATH, in fact, impacts one’s family life, sex life, social life, work life. And, even, one’s church life.

This usually happens during the time of bereavement, when there is a breakdown in communication. Especially, within the family dynamics.

For instance, the trauma of losing a loved one can turn that “sweet-loving mother,” who once got along with everyone into an aggressive or passive-aggressive person, who becomes IMPOSSIBLE to deal with in the confinement of the home. This change of personality or Dr. Jekal and Mr. Hyde duality of the soul , can fester over time, making the person short-tempered, easily annoyed, argumentative, and unbearable to live with. Especially, if the pain of losing a loved one isn’t dealt with in a proper time frame. And, in the worst-case scenario, this shattered personality becomes a permanent part of this person’s “suffering soul.”

How many of us know “mean-spirited” or bitter grandmothers, who never dealt with the pain of losing one of her children or husband?

It can be a painful and almost “unbearable” experience for the grandchildren or surviving children to deal with, as they walk on egg-shells when encountering her, as she “belittles them,” curses them, and attempts to pass-down her unhappiness to the next generation.

Yes, Death has a tendency to high-jack one’s emotions causing fluctuation in moods, where one, psychologically, goes from one extreme to another,” from depression to anger, until it leads one to eventually breakdown like that classic “DAMN, DAMN, DAMN…James” episode of Good Times, where Esther Rolle, as Florida Evans, smashed the dishes on the floor.

This “roller-coaster of emotions” usually causes one to isolate themselves or withdraw totally from the rest of the family. This self-isolation and alone time, which is designed to allow a person to relax, reflect, and release, can, however, become problematic if prolonged for an “unhealthy” moment of time.

This could leave the person becoming completely numb, where she/ can lose contact with reality, losing motivation to clean up or dress up, or beautify themselves. Which, could lead one to develop an anti-social attitude, when one decides not to communicate with the “outside world.”

This lack of motivation, isolation, and failure to communicate, unfortunately, can affect one’s job performance, due to lack of concentration and rest, which leads to unwanted stress, and irritability with co-workers, who, seem to be poking all their buttons. Even, if, they are generally concerned about their overall well-being.

“I just want to go to work, get my check, and go back home. That’s it. Ya’ll need to leave me alone”

Unfortunately, this attitude can leave the 9 to 5 during the week and walk into the CHURCH on Sunday Morning, where they could infect the congregation, the preacher, the choir, and the ushers, whether Consciously or Sub-consciously. That person, with their snobbish attitude, “heartened heart” becomes so STUCK in the “quicksand of their own GRIEF, often tries to pull others into their depths of spiritual uncertainty.

This self-isolation and failure to communicate, NOT only can have a DEVASTATING impact on THE CHURCH but on one’s romantic life and marriage as well as. SEE, the failure to communicate can affect the emotional, intimate and sexual relationship with one’s spouse, which could lead to divorce, if the person fails or loses the desire to heal from their traumatic lost.

Movie Director Tyler Perry tried to address this issue in his film Why Did I Get Married, when Janet Jackson and Malik Yoba battled over the loss of their child in a traumatic car crash.

Most pastors and houses of worship, unfortunately, fail to realize the impact death can have on a marriage. For, I know several men, who in their TRUE BARBER SHOW CONFESSIONS admitted that their wives were never the same after “losing their mother or their son until it destroyed their marriage. Because, their wives, sadly, had lost their ability to love again, or enjoy life. Whether, it was simply “going out” to a party, restaurant, movie, vacation, comedy club, dance or sporting event.

DEATH, however, not only attacks the institution of marriage. But, it also can creep into the parental process, where a once “loving and responsible” father, who was fair and balanced, after losing a loved one, can become an abusive dictator and a terrorist within his own home. This abuse of power and authority as the head of the household can come in the form of verbal abuse, mean-spirited language, cursing, name-calling, and physical abuse toward his children along with his wife. Some men, not only abuse their families. But they also abuse alcohol and drugs as a coping mechanism in order to deal with death. (Women included)

How many of us know an uncle or aunt, who have used drugs, as a form of self-medication, whether marijuana, cigarettes, cocaine, heroin, or alcohol to numb the pain of loss and the sting of death, which led to their addiction and the breakdown of the family social order.

With all the turmoil death can cause, sometimes families fail to validate their children, who also are trying to understand and process their own inner grief, which usually goes unnoticed, despite all the threats of one going to Hell from a fire and brimstone preacher and shouting of their aunties.

Children, despite what one may think, also need to be comforted and embraced, while being educated about the 5 stages of Grief. Which are: 1. Denial 2. Anger 3. Sadness 4. Bargaining and 5. Acceptance.

I have witnessed too many funerals where children’s emotions are never properly addressed, which flare up later in school, at home, and in their neighborhood, in the form of fights with friends, poor grades, disciplinary problems in school, involvement with gangs and even drug usages, which could affect their physical, emotional, and psychological mental health.

As we consider all of these scenarios surrounding the bereavement process, one should realize it is a matter of the “HEART, MIND, AND SOUL, which triggers our emotional memory, perception of reality, and logical reasoning about loss and death. So, families should take a plan of action in order to process and heal from their pain through music, meditation, prayer, counseling, psychotherapy, pastoral instruction, or emotional support groups.

For, in the New Testament, Christ’s work removed the dread and pain of death (1 Cor 15:50-55)

Now, this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

SUN-DAY SCHOOL LESSON: DRAFTED ON THE EVE OF ENVY by e.graham

 A day after the 2022 NFL Draft, where the world celebrated all 262 players, who realized their dreams of having an opportunity to play professional football, which ended with Mr. Irrelevant, Iowa State's QB Brock Purdy, we must warn those players, who were selected about one of the deadliest of the seven deadly sins that reside in the soul of man, known as ENVY, "The Mother of Murder." 

Why? Because, while, it seems, as if, everyone is cheering for their newfound success and potential financial riches, they are also those, who envy their potential rise to stardom.

While this spirit of ENVY can come from strangers, former teammates, and other athletes, who weren't lucky to be drafted, unfortunately, it can also appear within one's own family unit-whether it's a brother, sister, cousin, father, close friend or girlfriend, who were invited and sat in the room at their selection party, with a cellphone. recording the celebration as their names were being called on national television.

It's sad but true. Because, while these newly drafted athletes were putting on their freshly fitted NFL caps, proudly displaying their logos, as their eyes teared up with joy, somewhere, in that room, someone was fighting the emotion of ENVY.

I know this sounds odd. But, even, within the Biblical text, we have read about sibling rivalries that were, intensified by animosity and resentment between Jacob & Esau (Gen 27:35,) Cain & Abel (Gen 4:8), Rachel and Leah (Gen 30:1) Joesph and his brothers (Gen 37:11), because one was favored over the other.

This ugly emotion, known as ENVY, can rear its head like a poisonous King Cobra rattlesnake striking all families, not just the ones labeled dysfunctional, subconsciously or consciously, which could lead one to destroy life-long relationships within family units through "blackmail" by revealing "family secrets" to the media in order to harm one's chances to succeed, frequent family conflicts due to request of large sums of money, based on the philosophy that "you got it; don't you," and continuous attempts of self-sabotage through endless fights and arguments, which could lead to prison time-whether it's a result of a girlfriend or future wife, who can't handle all the attention one is receiving. Therefore, she uses the birth of a newborn baby as a bargaining tool for leverage along with her sexuality to cause one to be jealous (Prov 6:34)

Or, a father/mother, who due to lack of opportunity in the past along with generational curses, which continue to haunt the family (drug addiction, alcoholism) has come to believe that "no one in the family- is supposed to make it out of the ghetto or become successful." So, they, even though, their son has reached the pinnacle of success, can't come to grip to congratulate him.

Therefore, they just watch in silence. But, when given an opportunity to speak, ONLY fill his head with negativity, belittling him about not being selected higher or suggesting that he should have gone to another team.

Or, a brother/sister, may sarcastically joke-that another player is better, one probably will get injured, cut by pre-season, out of the league in three years, while ending up the first-round bust.

This was highlighted in the classic 1996 film Jerry Maguire, where the character Tee-Pee, played by comedian Aries Spears constantly downplayed his brother Rod Tidwell, a wide receiver for  Arizona Cardinal portrayed by Cuba Gooding Jr.

So, while pondering all of this a day after the 2022 NFL draft, one should BEWARE of this envious spirit, which lingers in the hearts of some of OUR family members by::

1. NOT BEING AFRAID TO RECOGNIZE IT

2. NOT BEING NAIVE TO DENY IT

3. TRY NO TO MINIMIZE IT, INTERNALIZE IT OR WRESTLE WITH IT, where it moves one to anger or depression

4. TRY NOT TO JUSTIFY IT

5. SET BOUNDARIES, AVOID NEGATIVITY BY NOT GIVING THEM ACCESS TO YOUR DREAMS

6. BE WISE, CHEER FOR YOURSELF.

The story of so-called Black People, the
Covenant People (Gen: 12:1-3,) the seed of Abraham (Gen 15:13) known as the Lost Children of Israel (Matt 15:24,) who were prophesied to be enslaved in the strange land amongst strange people for over 400 years(Acts 7:6), makes the symbolic writings and pages of the Bible, become a Living SCROLL (Rev. 5:2) Especially, with the innocent bloodshed of our ancestors by our enemies, which involved the brutal act of lynching, where they were viciously "hung from trees."

Matter of fact, in 1932 Blue singer Billie Holiday sang a song entitled a "STRANGE FRUIT," which, was, actually, written first as a poem, then later as a song by an Ashkenazi Jew, named Abel Meeropol.

According to Biography.com, Meeropol's inspiration came from a 1930 photo that captured the lynching of two Black men in Indiana like the ones that appear in the book Without Sanctuary: Lynching Photography in America by John Allen published in 1999. The visceral image haunted him for days and prompted him to put pen to paper.

Why? Because, if Meeropol, a Jewish convert, had to have read the Torah, and known that LYNCHING was the most disgusting form of death to the Israelites. For, according to Deuteronomy 21:22-23: "He who was hanged is accursed of God."

Despite that fact, the Jewish Sanhedrin sought and obtained Roman authorization to have Jesus crucified (Mark 15:13-15.) by this same degrading practice, which was done in order for the HIM to rot in public for breaking one of the laws of the Torah. (Deu 27:26.) But, the law strictly commanded that the "body shouldn't remain on the tree overnight but be buried the same day (Deu 21:23)

This is why the so-called Black people, who are viewed as being ACCURSED, are the symbolic embodiment of the Christ-figure, who himself, was seen as CURSED. Because, He, like "so-called Black people" was killed by begin hung on a tree (Act 5:30,) and publicly displayed as a criminal and an "enemy of the state," even though, he was innocent. (Deu 19:10.)

Despite this attempt to curse on us and Christ, the Law of God is perfect. Even though, man tries to keep it, interrupt it and judge those, who brake it (Matt 7:1-5) all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Therefore, in His grace, Christ lifted the Curse off of us through His sacrifice, which is explained in Galatians 3:10-13:

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree:

Now, this, again, is symbolic language, beautifully written for " Jesus being "hung on the tree," which was believed to be an acacia tree, is associated with being crucified on the cross, made of Acacia wood, the same wood used to build the ARK of the COVENANT, a sacred portable CHEST-along with the MERCY SEAT and CHERUBIM stationed in the INNERMOST room, or Holy of Holies, of Moses' tabernacle, and Solomon's Temple. (Astrologically and anatomically significance)

For, remember, in Hebrew, the word ARK is translated as COFFIN, which, ONLY appears in Genesis (50:26), or the Genealogy of Isis, in which Joseph's, meaning to ADD, is seen as the sign of the CROSS, body was placed after he died in Egypt. If you recall, in the legend, he was raised from the dead after being tossed in a pit and left for dead by his brothers, which, provides a significant development of the Abrahamic covenant.

A covenant, in laymen's terms, is a promise or God's guarantee that He will provide salvation in spite of the people's inability to keep their side of the agreement because of sin.

Throughout the scripture, The Most High made covenants with the biblical characters Adam and David (Gen 3:15; 2 Sam 7:14-15,) Noah (Gen 8:21-22), and Abraham's descendants due to his faith (Gen. 12:1-3)

But, Christ, known as the Son of Man, is the fulfillment of the covenant God made with Abraham.

Why? Because, although, in one sense, all Jews are the physical seed of Abraham. Christ becomes the final focus of God's promises or THE ULTIMATE SEED; making His people, the spiritual seed of Abraham, in THE NEW COVENANT, which was prophesied in the Book of Jeremiah 31:31-34: Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake..

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their HEARTS; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Masonically those, who have knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, should "overstand" this scripture. Why? Because, Romans 2:25-29 states: For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

After reading these verses, who is the SEED of Ab-ra-ham, AB (The Father) of The Black (Ham) Ra (Son?) Those learnt men and women should be able to decipher these verses and be able to locate this BLACK SEED, this BLACK STONE, the KABA, as well as the LOST ARK OF THE COVENANT, because this SEED, CHRIST, himself compared His own death and resurrection in a figurative sense to the sowing of seeds in Chapter 13 of Matthew in three parables: the parable of a sower (Matt 13:3-9,) the parable of the wheat and tares (Matt 13:24-30; 36-43,) and the parable of the mustard seed.

SUN-DAY SCHOOL CLASS: THE DRAMA OF MARCH MADNESS pt.2 by e.graham

English playwright and actor, William Shakespeare, whose name appears, hidden in the Book of Psalms in Chapter 46, a number signifying one needs more balance in his life, (which the word "shake" is 46 words from the beginning and "speare" 46 from the end) stated "All the world's a stage. They have their exits and their entrances and one man in his time plays many parts."

This statement proved itself to be true because on the night, of glitz and glamour, where the world celebrated the best of film and cinema, we witnessed, what appeared to be, a scene from a Shakespearean tragedy, similar to Macbeth,  known as the KING OF PAIN, which starred Denzel Washington, who was consumed by ambition and impulse by his wife, leading him to murder yet wrecking him with guilt and paranoia in the end. But in this new Hollywood rendition, instead of three witches prophesying one greatness, it involved three female comedians as the host Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes,  along with a man, who seemingly had been driven MAD at the Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre.

 For, our beloved brother Will Smith, who was named best actor for his role in King Richard, oddly, the name of another historical drama by Shakespeare, seemingly, "acted out of character"  walked on stage in the middle of comedian Chris Rock's monologue, assaulting him live on television after a joke directed toward his wife, Jada-Pickett, went terribly wrong.

The act by Smith was so shocking, that many people believed it had to be staged. It couldn't have been real. But, the Book of Proverbs (18:6) warned us that " A fool's lips lead to strife, and his mouth provokes a beating. ... And, just as the Book predicted; Chris Rock was slapped. But, the show had to go on, which it did without hesitation.

(For) Surely oppression makes a wise man mad;..(and) the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. (So) Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger rests in the bosom of fools. (Ecc 7:7-9)

In stating that, I encourage one to read my previous post entitled Everybody Plays The Fool Sometimes, where I asked, "Who played the role of the devil in this unbelievable drama, which captured our imaginations?"

Why? Because, (1 Tim 4,) states "that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils (Scientology) ...

For, while most of the world viewed this as an example of toxic masculinity between Smith and Rock,  who reacted violently in order to protect his wife from a verbal assault, Jada-Pickett Smith, sat, almost emotionless, with a snarky smile on her face, slightly out of frame, yet the center attention, as the supreme architect of this conflict.

Why? Because, she, despite her level of perceived innocence, played a major role in bewitching (Act 8:11) her husband with her RED TABLE TALK, where she, according to some, emasculated him (1 Cor 6:9), with conversation and discussion about infidelity and adultery (Heb 13:4)

But, again, Proverbs, a book of wisdom addressed this issue this way in a section entitled BEWARE OF ADULTERY in  Chapter 6:24-32:

Keep... from the evil woman, from the flattering tongue of a seductress. Do not lust after her beauty in your heart, nor let her allure you with her eyelids.

For by means of a harlot, a man is reduced to a crust of bread; and an adulteress will prey upon his precious life.

Can a man take fire to his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?

Can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be seared?

He may have to give up all the substance of his house. Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; He who does so destroys his own soul.

Wounds and dishonor he will get; his reproach will not be wiped away. For jealousy is a husband’s fury.

In analyzing these words, while watching Will Smith, who, despite his moment of anger,  still was awarded the Oscars for Best Actor Award. But, if we are honest, on that stage, we saw a broken man

For, Proverbs 12:4 states: “A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.”

This scripture was evident in Smith's teary-eyed apology to the academy but not to Chirs Rock when said,

 "Love will make you do crazy things..."  His understanding of love was similar yet different to that of Anthony and Cleopatra, Romeo and Juliet,  Othello, and even Adam and Eve of the Bible. For, he had FELL victim to Love and had become another example of a FALLEN MAN, a FALLEN STAR, and a FALLEN ANGEL.

Because, many questioned, whether, art was imitating life. For, the Philly-born Prince, seemed to be possessed with an unfamiliar spirit. Especially, after his infamous slap and outrageous profanity-laced outburst

And, in keeping the theme of Hollywood movies at the forefront of this discussion, let's not forget, it was Denzel Washington that appeared in the 1998 movie entitled FALLEN, which was about a fallen angel AZAZEL, who in the Jewish legends, is  a demon or evil spirit, cursed to roam the earth without form, switching bodies by any contact (Lev 16:8),  who consoled Smith in his moment of darkness by offering him a "little light" (Matt 5:16) with these profound words that

At your highest moment, be careful, that's when the devil comes for you,”

As deep as Denzel's words were, they mimicked those in Matt 4:8-11, which stated:

the devil took him (JESUS) up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; [9] And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt FALL down and worship me...

For, Mark 8:36 states: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

This scripture holds true. Because, cross-dressing Hollywood has taken parts of many stars' souls from Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Bill Cosby, R.Kelly, Kanye West, and the list goes on.

But, now, it's Will Smith's turn. And, he is the new scapegoat to be crucified. However, this to shall pass.

So, Will "Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down." (Philip 4:6-7) (bobbeethehater.blogspot.com)

Something that's being overlooked in the chatter about last night is how Tyler Perry and Denzel Washington checked on Chris, Will, and Jada and helped calm the energy in the room. Make Black men practicing conflict resolution a part of the topic..

Because too many brothers are locked up in prison and have killed or been killed for situations like this...

Yeah, it was just a slap. However, others are dropping bombs.

Denzel Washington stated,” In your highest moments, be careful, that’s when the devil comes for you!”

But, who played the role of the devil last night.

Will Smith, Jada Smith, or Chris Rock?

For they all were dancing in the devil's cesspool known as Hollywood.

Again, Denzel stated: "” In your highest moments, be careful, that’s when the devil comes for you!"

So, who played the role of the devil last night.

My answer is all three of them-Will Smith, Jada-Pickett, and Chris Rock. Yes, they all fell victim to the whispering spirit named Shayṭān, in the Islāmic myth, known as the JINN.

See, according to legend, the whispering spirit like in the movie Devil's Advocate played by Al Pacino only makes suggestions into men’s ears but have no real power over men. It is said that they are as close to men as their blood or jugular vein, but the shaitans can only tempt, and their success depends on their "cleverness"

In the Holy Quran, Surah Al-A’raf (The Heights ) 19-22, it states:

O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat from wherever you will but do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers. But Satan whispered to them to make apparent to them that which was concealed from them of their private parts. He said, ‘ Your Lord did not forbid you this tree except that you become angels (SUPERSTARS) or become of the immortal.’

Now,  keep this in mind, because a lot of this tension, which is mere speculation, I don't know these people, came for Jada's Red Table Talk, which opened up a Pandora's box of accusations about infidelity, "entanglements," "suggestions" about open marriages, homosexuality and a host of other "suggestions", created by those millions of "whispering spirits" on-line, in Facebook posts, YouTube clips, and suggestive memes, which made Smith look like a FOOL.

And, for these reasons, questions kept coming, remember, actress Laverne Cox had an awkward encounter while on the red carpet for the Screen Actors Guild Awards after referring to the infamous “entanglement” in front of Will and Jada.

But, as Denzel said,” In your highest moments, be careful, that’s when the devil comes for you!"

And, last night, when all the stars were out in which we were anticipating -celebrating his acting excellence, in a moment of darkness, his Ego got the best of him.

See, the definition of EGO is the part of the mind that mediates between the conscious and the unconscious and is responsible for reality testing and a sense of personal identity.

So, in studying the mind and the duality of soul, Chris Rock played the role of The Joker and Will Smith played the role of the Dark Knight LAST NIGHT.

See, even though Will Smith won the award, defending his wife, and slapped Chris Rock in the face.

He actually lost.

For, the Joker made him "look" like The Fool. Even, his wife

Because, the people, who once praised him, have become appalled by his action, while praising the Joker, for remaining poise, calm and professional.

See, the Joker will have the last laugh.

Because, it is the Fool or The Court Jester's job to make FUN of the King aka Will Smith, who played the role of KING RICHARD.

Why? Because, the Emperor HAS NO CLOTHES, meaning there are people, who are afraid to criticize something or someone because of their perceived wisdom or fame.

This concept is based on The Emperor's New Clothes"  a literary folktale written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, about a vain emperor who gets exposed before his subjects, believing he is fully clothed. But, actually naked.

The American Empire has used the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr, like the Roman Empire used the life of the one they called "Jesus Christ," who they crucified unjustifiably while celebrating him years later while forming a government-sanctioned religion around his teachings and principles after his death.

We can't deny it. We all have deified King like Christ after his death. Oddly, with the approval of the same government that murdered him, by hanging his picture on the walls of our homes alongside John F. Kennedy, and false images of white Jesus.

Have we forgotten the FBI second in command called him the "most dangerous and effective Negro leader in America during that time in history?

But, now, we celebrate his birthday with parades, bouncy houses, and Bar-Q dinners, while reciting his "I Have a Dream speech to a multi-cultural audience, while trying not to offend anyone by presenting a Walt Dynasty version of him to the general public, similarly to the way the Church paints Christ today.

Hell, this is easily accomplished now because everybody claims they marched with him, stood with him, went to jail with him, while quoting his words, memorizing his speeches, and debating his philosophical ideas like scriptures in the New Testament.

Yet, we still FEAR to tell the truth about him.

See, King "increasing butted heads with the soft, safe image manufactured for him. (Because, the more he protested poverty, denounced the Vietnam War, and lamented the unconscious racism of most whites, the more he lost favor and footing in white America." (Dyson, April 4, 1968,)

But, these MLK celebrations, which we engage in today, truthfully, don't "solve the stubborn structural issues like chronic unemployment, racial profiling, educational equity, radical poverty, gross over imprisonment, and the enduring reluctance to hire Black men. It takes more than enlightenment to solve these problems; goodwill alone can't heal these bleeding sores on the body politics." (Dyson, April 4, 1968)

But, America, domesticated Dr.King- by giving him a holiday, and building a statue in his image for us to worship, while forcing us to have selective amnesia.

For, white Americans must (come to gripples) about how elements of its OWN government, especially the FBI under J. Edgar Hoover, who "FEARED THE RISE OF A BLACK MESSIAH" tried to destroy King's career, marriage, and ultimately, his life.

(Yes)Hoover and the United States government used Soviet-Russian type illegal tactics in order to tarnish King's leadership by claiming he was a Communist while snooping into his sex life by doctoring tapes of him "allegedly having sex with other women", and playing them to his wife, hoping to humiliate him.

Let's go a little deeper.

I am thinking like Steve Cokley and Baba Dick Gregory now.

Because J.Edgar Hoover was also a member of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine while wearing a Moorish Fez with the words ALMAS, in Arabic meaning "nourishing  Black Mother," the apple of my eye, or the Black Diamond/ stone or soul on another level. But, there is still more to decipher for the "learnt man and woman."

Therefore, he knew the "TRUE" IMPORTANCE of Dr. King's presence as being a BLACK MESSIAH figure on an esoteric level and a government level.

Remember, Dr.King's delivered his last "I Have Been To The Mountaintop" speech in support of the striking sanitation workers at the Masonic Temple in Memphis on April 3, 1968, before he was assassinated at the age of 39. Malcolm X also was assassinated at the age of 39.

Anyone, who "overstands" the importance of the number 40, scripturally, which appears over 146 times, should know- it generally symbolizes a period of testing, trial, or completion.

According to Chaplin William Collins, during Moses' life, he lived forty years in Egypt and forty years in the desert before God selected him to lead his people out of slavery. Moses was also on Mount Sinai for 40 days and nights, on two separate occasions (Exodus 24:18, 34:1 - 28), receiving God's laws. He also sent spies, for forty days, to investigate the land God promised the Israelites as an inheritance (Numbers 13:25, 14:34).

The prophet Jonah powerfully warned ancient Nineveh, for forty days, that its destruction would come because of its many sins. The prophet Ezekiel laid on His right side for 40 days to symbolize Judah's sins (Ezekiel 4:6). Elijah went 40 days without food or water at Mount Horeb. Jesus was tempted by the devil not just three times, but MANY times during the 40 days and nights he fasted just before his ministry began. He also appeared to his disciples and others for 40 days after his resurrection from the dead.

The number forty can also represent a generation of man. Because of their sins after leaving Egypt, God swore that the generation of Israelites who left Egyptian bondage would not enter their inheritance in Canaan (Deuteronomy 1).

The children of Israel were punished by wandering the wilderness for 40 years before a new generation was allowed to possess the promised land. Jesus, just days before his crucifixion, prophesied the total destruction of Jerusalem (Matthew 24:1 - 2, Mark 13:1 - 2).

Forty years after his crucifixion in 30 A.D., the mighty Roman Empire destroyed the city and burned its beloved temple to the ground.

MERCIFULLY KNEELING IN A MOMENT OF CRISIS: THE TRAIL OF DEREK CHAUVIN by e.graham

According to the Book of Daniel (9:9) The Most High shows compassion toward those who have broken His law. But, unfortunately, for our beloved brother George Floyd, when four Minnesota police officers arrested him and placed him in handcuffs, they showed him NO MERCY.

Even, when he begged and pleaded for just a little bit MERCY, while crying for his deceased mother, as one applied pressure on his neck from his knee, two others placed their weight across his back, blocking the oxygen to his lungs from traveling to his brain, for 8 minutes and 46 seconds until he laid breathless in the street-murdered in broad daylight. They showed him NO MERCY.

SEE, historically, on the plantations of America, sometimes, the overseer or officer would take one of the strongest “slaves” or the biggest “bucks” WITH NO MERCY, and tight ropes around their limbs to four horses, racing them in four different directions, ripping them apart, killing them in broad daylight for the other slaves to witness in order to inflict FEAR in them, as well as, their future generations, who may have thoughts or ideas of rebelling against their POWER and AUTHORITY.

While many believe this is an old school tactic, no longer practiced in America, George Floyd, who stood over 6 feet tall and weighed about 230lbs faced the same type of torture at the hands of the police and was murdered to inflict FEAR into the masses, as people "fearfully" stood and watched.

But, according to the Book of Psalm Chapter 27, it states: The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?

Symbolically, Colin Kaepernick, different yet the same, while taking a knee during the National Anthem, in order to bring awareness to the same form of police brutality that killed Floyd, was “psychological lynched” or choked out by a segment of the American population, the NFL, the “OWNERS” and members of the head coaching staffs, who refused to hire him, while “white-balling” him out the league in order to show the "ballers" if you think about stepping out of line, you will face the same financial "Castration" as Kaepernick, who had enough "INTESTINAL FORTITUDE" to take stand against INJUSTICE.

Let’s not forget, the President referred to those taking a knee as “SONS OF BITCHES” Meaning, with 20/20 hindsight, that Trump was calling the players’ “Black Mothers,” like the one, which Greg Floyd cried out for in the moment of his distress, NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF BITCHES.

See, before you CAN MURDER someone, you have to de-humanize them, making them less than a human or less than a dog. This is why, according to court reports, after Ahmaud Aubrey was murder in cold blood in Brunswick, Georgia, his killer stood over his body and called him a Nigger.

And, without a shadow of a doubt, this was done in order to INFLICT FEAR, in other Black people, who may have thoughts of rebelling against their POWER and AUTHORITY. No different than when Trump tweeted- “when the looting starts; the shooting starts” or “releasing the dogs, which triggers images from the early ’60s during segregation, when dogs were used to bite the flesh of peaceful protesters. Even, his usage of the word “THUGS,” which is RED MEAT for his base, is a word associated for Black males, whether they are young Black men protesting in the street or million-dollar athletes.

So, despite a league being 70% Black, with all of their muscles, weightlifting, locker-room brawls, expensive homes, fancy cars, aggressive attitudes, the majority of the players, became a church of cowards, and submitted to the bottom-line and put their toes on the lines during the singing of the National Anthem.

AND, just like THE WORLD stood back and watched while SHOWING NO MERCY for Colin Kaepernick, those four officers showed NO MERCY for George Floyd, as he took his last breath.

But, I guarantee that these same officers, Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, Tou Thao, and J Alexander Kueng, who were involved in the death of George Floyd, will beg for MERCY from the judge as well as the JURY when, or if, they are convicted for their crimes.

The question still remains, however. If Freedom is unfamiliar to souls on stolen land, will the American Justice System hear their cries for Mercy?

BOBBEE BEE: MONDAY MORNING MEDITATION: JOY TO THE WORLD

MONDAY MORNING MEDITATION: JOY  TO THE WORLD by e.graham

 Let me begin today's MONDAY MEDITATION, by defining the Bible as a book of mythical history mixed philosophical myth, veiled in allegory, with poetic decoration, illustrated symbolism, enriched with a system of morality, and an astrological connection.

With that said, what is the Jubilee?

The Jubilee, for the Bible believers and the Pastors, is the 50th year after 7 cycles, which is when Israelites were obligated to observe this year, once they entered the Promise Land, where instructions about property and slavery took effect (Lev 25:8-55.)

The 7 cycles are associated with
Daniel's vision of the Israelites' 490-year captivity in Babylon and their restoration to GLORY, which is equivalent to the number of times Jesus told Peter, who asked him "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times? 

Oddly, the Son of Man stated, according to the Book of Matthew (18:21, 22 )"I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven," which is (70 X 7=490) (This, of course, as a deeper meaning for the true mathematicians.)

The word "jubilee, in fact, comes from a Hebrew term that means to be "jubilant." The word is related to the Hebrew word for ram's horn or trumpet. The Jubilee year was launched with a blast from a RAM's horn on the Day of Atonement, signifying a call to JOY, LIBERATION, and the beginning of a year for JUSTICE and MERCY, which is why people blow those little horns during the so-called New Year's celebration in January.

Yes, the 50th year was a special year, much like the Sabbatical Year, to the Isis-RA-el-lights to proclaim LIBERTY throughout all the land (Lev 25:10,) which is inscribed on the LIBERTY BELL in Philadelphia "the City of Brotherly Love...."

This is, of course, has a deeper esoteric meaning and a numerical significance. Because, the #50 can be reduced to the number five, which has Gang connection/ better known as Street Organization, and represents the 5 senses of Man (see, hear, smell, taste and feeling) along with the (5) planets, Mars is the only one to shine in the evening sky, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn all, which appear in the EAST BEFORE THE SUNRISE and Venus – the brightest planet –the "Bright a Morning Star"(Rev 22:16,)which is known astrological as the Eastern Star, Easter, or Ishtar, "The Queen of Heaven,"-that appears in the sky with a hidden Pentagon in the center.

This 5-pointed STAR is also seen as Isis/NUN, a woman or religious, typically living under vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience in the enclosure of a monastery in Roman Catholicism. The term NUN pronounced (Noon,) is also the oldest of the ancient Egyptian gods and father of RA, the sun god, meaning the "primeval waters,” which is why Christ's symbol, within Christianity, is  a fish. Plus, within the biblical text, Nun is the father of Joshua, which is another name for Jesus.(Num11:28-30).

Amazingly, NUN is also the 14th letter in the Hebrew alphabet, which has a numerical value is 50. Plus, the (5th letter,) which is He, is known as the "breath of life." Hence, the cartoon character HE-man.

But, it gets deeper. Because this is a universal teaching. For, the same 5-pointed Star is reflected in the Five Pillars of Islam, which are.

.Profession of Faith (shahada). The belief that "There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God" is central to Islam. ..

• Prayer (salat). ...
• Alms (zakat). ...
• Fasting (sawm). ...
• Pilgrimage (hajj).

Which, leads us DIRECTLY to the 5% Nation of Islam or 5-Percenters, whose emblem is actually a compass, whether they know it or not......giving to GIVE direction to a "TRAVELING MAN." 

For, "He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." (Psalms 23:3)

Why? Because, the 5%ers visualize the 5-pointed star to be a representation that the BLACK MAN is (GOD,) which symbolic was captured in a clever acronym of A.rm L.eg L.eg A.rm H.ead, the name of (God) in the Arabic language known as ALLAH, the Law Giver, which in the ancient TAROT, the number (5) is associated with the archetype of the Pope, The Pontiff, The High Priest or a person, who passed on his or her knowledge and understanding to a new generation.

This is beautifully connected to the Pentateuch, a term meaning "five-volume," which refers to the first five books of the Old Testament, traditionally known as the Book of Law or the TORAH, meaning teaching or doctrine-that is generally divided into Genesis, Exodus, Deuteronomy, and Numbers.

The Day of Jubilee, in fact, was established to prevent a permanent economic class by giving everyone a start over, a Day of Renewal, economically and socially, while remaining us  that the Most High wants people to be FREE (Luke 4:18-19) and desires for JUSTICES to rule over the earth in order to eliminate permanent bondage and debt.

Remember, scripturally, slavery is debt. So, during this year, a man who was bound to another as a slave was set free and returned to his own family. This is expressed in Deuteronomy 15:1-5, which is subtitled as The Year of Debt Release, which states: At the end of every seven years you must declare a cancellation of debts.[a]  This is the nature of the cancellation: Every creditor must remit what he has loaned to another person;[b] he must not force payment from his fellow Israelite,[c] for it is to be recognized as “the Lord’s cancellation of debts.”  You may exact payment from a foreigner, but whatever your fellow Israelite[d] owes you, you must remit. However, there should not be any poor among you, for the Lord[e] will surely bless[f] you in the land that he[g] is giving you as an inheritance,[h]  if you carefully obey[i] him[j] by keeping[k] all these commandments 

To add on to all this, the #50 appears on one of the three major Jewish festivals, the other two are Passover and Feast of Tabernacles, which feel on the 50th day after the Sabbath of the Passover of the Sun, that include servants, sons and daughters, Levites, the fatherless, the widows, and strangers, known as the PENTECOST, (a Greek word, meaning "fifty." 

This  observance of the PENTECOST, by early Christian believers, who gathered in Jerusalem, alleged experienced an outpouring of God's Holy Spirit, in (Hebrew: רוח הקודש‎, known as theruach ha-kodesh) the divine force over the universe( of (YHWH) in a miraculous way (Act 2:1-4)

OH, WHAT A JOYOUS EXPERIENCE!!!

For, just like the psalmist rejoices over God's righteousness (71:14-16,) SALVATION (21:1; 71:23,) MERCY (31:7,) CREATION (148:5,) WORD (119;14, 162) and FAITHFULNESS (33:1-6.)

This type of Joy is possible, even in the mist of sorrow, for (Psalm 30:5) states: "weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
