PERFORMANCE POLITICS: THE BACHELOR, THE BOOKER, & THE DANCER

Is LGBT activist and comedian Ellen DeGeneres the NEW kingmaker, where politicians go to dance and boogie, before bowing down and kissing her ring, while confessing their allegiance to the "white" LBGT community?
Unfortunately, it seems, as if, it is true. Because, while comedian Kevin Hart refused "the new-Oprah's "advise surrounding this year's Oscars , 2020 presidential candidate, junior United States Senator from New Jersey, Cory Booker, 49, painfully two-stepped his way "Obama-style" to music along side the slender talk show host before sitting down and announcing he had a girlfriend- in actress-Rosario Dawson, who just (conveniently) shared the news with TMZ on Thursday when leaving a Washington, D.C. airport.
Ellen, satirically, even, urged the 36th Mayor of Newark,as if, it was an episode of ABC's The Bachelor, to get married in the White House so America could have a “royal wedding" similar to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Laughably, the female comedian promised to be a “big part of it,” -(the wedding) if Booker decided to say "I do" during or after the election.
And, while, Booker put on his best political performance face in order to gain white female votes by being soft-spoken , non-threatening and "kind", he promised Ellen that .." there will be gender diversity on the ticket."
Remember, this is the same Cory Booker, who played hot scotch and double-dutch while trying to avoid questions about Reparation on the Breakfast Club just a month ago.
This-my friend- was a classic example of performance politics at its finest.
End scene. (bobbeethehater.blogspot.com)
